Meet the Researchers

We have discovered a small and determined group of scientists who are dedicated to their research of Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer syndrome (HDGC).  We have read their work, corresponded with them at length, consulted with them regarding our family’s HDGC medical issues, and met some of them in person during our journey.  We are indebted to them for their efforts and successes to date, and intend to support them in their continuing research.

We are deeply grateful to these individuals for their efforts to help us educate other researchers, medical providers, and patients/families toward our shared missions of preventing, treating, and some day eliminating HDGC.

Lorraine and Cathy, you’re stories are inspiring. I wish you both the best of luck with your surgeries and recovery. Right now, it’s hard for me to imagine being in your shoes, but I will most likely be there at some point. Thanks for sharing.
